One week before his triumphal entry into Jerusalem and two weeks before his death, Jesus and the disciples experience a scene straight out of a Robertson Davies novel in terms of its psychological cadence. Fr. Allen probes this liminal event and the conflict it exposes in search of an answer to the question "on what basis is it possible to live an ordinary life in an extraordinary way?"
