Today we are going to be thinking about the Gospel and the main theme “forgiveness” as is written there.
There is a little 3-letter word that is not as popular these days but is very present in the liturgy of every church service. It is the word ‘sin.’
The word ‘sin’ is covered under the 5th section of the Catechism (now Transforming Questions), for those of us preparing for Confirmation. In the first 4 Sections are covered Human Nature, God the Father, The Old Covenant and The 10 Commandments. [See the Sermon Notes for the entire text and references.]
