The Anglican Church of Canada put out the following statement on its website April 29, 2016.

We are the Anglican Diocese of New Westminster, a regional expression of the Anglican Church of Canada in the Sunshine Coast, Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley consisting of 66 parishes and 3 worshipping communities on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish First Nations.
