Highlights from Synod May 12-13

We are grateful to delegates Kathy and Dick, Lay Secretary of Synod, Belinda, and Mtr Miranda for their attendance over the two intensive days of Synod this week (at the Italian Cultural Centre). It took a considerable amount of preparation, followed by participation in the work and discussions that took place over those two days.

The diocese has allocated $5000 in seed money for parish initiatives that will address homelessness and housing scarcity. [See the Attached file for more details.]

We look forward to hearing more of our delegates' impressions and how they will influence St Matthew’s direction and growth as we continue the process of discernment.
