We live in a time when we cheerfully mix spiritualities across the religions. It's mostly to the good; but we've got to be careful not to lose (pun intended!) a key Christian teaching: God is most happy to meet each of us in our "lostness." This recognition is not only key to a personal optimism and joy but key to how we relate to all those around us who may be struggling, who seem unable to extricate themselves from difficulty to speak nothing of "crafting a creative spirituality." Recognizing difference in the religions, it turns out, not always a bad thing!
