Canadian Citizenship and the Christian Vision

Countries like Canada are only possible as expressions of a certain vision of Divinity; a vision in which humans matter to an extraordinary degree.  In this homily Fr. Allen traces how this vision developed in the context of the Ancient Near East culminating in Jesus' extraordinary actions in the temple; actions that call us to consider very carefully how best we might live into our own gratefulness for our home nation of Canada.
