"Come Holy Spirit"

This Sunday, 50 days after Easter Sunday, we gathered together in a wide circle to welcome Pentecost.

The day was one of great joy, commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ, marking the symbolic beginnning of the Christian church and its ongoing mission.

For St Matthew, we are reminded of our own continuing mission to the community, the world, and to each other.
