Christian Unity Service & Luncheon

Monday, January 18, 2016 saw a good start to Abbotsford's Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.  About 50 people came for the service, on the theme of "Let the stone be rolled away", and luncheon followed. Tuesday will be Peace Lutheran Church, "Called to be messengers of joy".  Wednesday is Calvin Presbyterian Church, "The witness of fellowship".  Thursday is St. Ann's Catholic Church, "A priestly people called to proclaim the gospel."  Friday is Trinity Memorial United Church, "The fellowship of the apostles."  All service times for these are at 12:15.  Finally, at 7:30 pm. Sunday, at Highland Community Church, there will be contemplative evening prayers on the theme of "Hearts burning for unity."
