What happens when a biblical story is so strange that it makes you rearrange your thinking? This is what happens in the bizarre tale of Naaman's healing. As the author leads us into his tale we are made aware that our understanding of God's relationship with those who have hurt us may need some "work." But the Good News attached to that work is that we ourselves may more fully experience the glorious work of salvation as a kind of healing for our souls and/or bodies.
